Group Lessons Reinvented at PIANO ACADEMIE: Towards Independence and Mastery

Experience the evolution of music education at PIANO ACADEMIE with our group lessons, a source of inspiration drawn from our expertise in preparing for international competitions.

Our goal? Encourage students’ independence and hone their piano skills in a stimulating group setting.

Our sessions are characterized by an enriching duality: moments of personal instruction by a dedicated teacher alternate with autonomous exercises on modern digital keyboards. This approach allows students to familiarize themselves with their instrument more freely, with the teacher acting as a guide rather than a permanent supervisor.

At the heart of this dynamic, each teacher supervises up to five students, creating a lively, collaborative learning atmosphere. Unlike our sessions for younger learners, these courses are designed for those looking to work more independently, while benefiting from the support and interaction of the group.

To complete this training, online music theory lessons are integrated into our annual program, ensuring a comprehensive musical understanding.

These group courses form the backbone of our educational offering, accounting for 80% of our business, with over 3,500 sessions completed in the 2022-2023 school year. They have proven their effectiveness, particularly in collective preparation for competitions, encouraging independent work that is crucial for practice at home.

This demanding methodology requires a deep commitment on the part of our teachers, who benefit from specific training to achieve excellence in their teaching.
