Group Piano Lessons for Teens : Dynamic and effective at PIANO ACADEMIE
Discover our piano lessons for teenagers, a new approach introduced in 2022 that builds on the proven methodology of our group lessons. Specially designed for young people aged 12 and over, these group classes offer a dynamic and enriching learning experience.
Teens benefit from tailored time slots, fostering their commitment and motivation. Each class can accommodate up to 10 students, fostering a friendly and stimulating atmosphere. Students have the opportunity to work individually, while benefiting from the support of their peers and the guidance of their teacher.
Learning method
The structure of these courses is inspired by our preparation classes for international competitions. In the space of an hour, students alternate between work sessions with their teacher and individual exercises on a digital keyboard. Unlike private lessons, our approach encourages autonomy: the teacher guides the student without overloading them, leaving each young person free to work at their own pace and choose their own pieces.
We also offer a separate online music theory course, included in the annual package. This comprehensive offer enables students to benefit from a complete musical training.

From September 2023, we’re expanding our offer with more slots, mixing adults and teenagers. Many parents want to share this learning experience with their child, and these mixed classes perfectly meet this demand. To reflect this evolution, our rates have been adjusted, while maintaining our annual commitment to a chosen slot.

Location of classes
These classes can only be organised at our premises.
- Paris 16e : Rue Scheffer : Monday to Friday at 7pm
- Paris 16e : Rue de la Pompe : Friday at 7pm
- Paris 1er – Rue de Richelieu : Monday to Friday at 12pm and 7pm
Tarification
La participation à ces classes implique certaines contraintes qui doivent être acceptées au préalable par les élèves.
- Aucune absence à un cours ne pourra faire l’objet d’une demande de rattrapage ou de remboursement.
- Un engagement sur l’année est demandé. Inscription en cours d’année acceptée.

The Teen Enrolment Kit (161€ / 82€):
The Enrolment Kit includes what each student needs to follow the school’s courses. It includes the following contents:
- annual application fees (reduced from 1 January 2024),
- one to two annual auditions,
- a workbook
- 1 to 3 transcripts from the school
The end-of-year concert is not included in this Kit. Participation in this concert is optional. (+100€)
Trial course
This course is not compulsory, but allows you to better understand our method before committing to the school year. We recommend the course to all parents who are new to the school or who are unsure whether to take a private or group lesson.
