Adults and children alike need immediate results. There’s no question of waiting 5 years to be able to play a Chopin waltz!
Mi-Young LEE has perfected her learning method to enable everyone to play a major work of the classical repertoire very quickly.
How many times has she heard, “I’m too old to start”, “I don’t have time to spend two hours a day on it”, etc.?
The first step is to choose with the student the first piece he or she wants to play. No méthode rose or other simplified pieces.
The student learns gradually and methodically how to play the piece, so as to be able to play it with all the musicality required.
With this method, you can learn to play a Chopin Nocturne in less than three months, for example. Hard to believe? But it’s true, and we’ve been able to verify it with many of our students.
Nor do we ask students to play for several hours a day. Regularity of work is important, and with 15 to 20 minutes of work a day, you’ll achieve surprising results!
Age is not a problem. It’s true that as you get older, it will be more difficult to play very fast passages. Fortunately, the classical repertoire offers a wide range of works to suit every taste!
