The concept of group piano lessons for adults
Introduced in 2021, our group lessons for Adults are enjoying well-deserved success. Piano Académie wanted to respond to the specific needs of many adults, i.e. to offer lessons at specific times, at affordable rates and with the flexibility needed to allow changes without being penalized financially.
Our group lessons for adults allow everyone to work on the piece they want. This is important to keep motivation high throughout the learning process.
Secondly, Mi-Young LEE’s highly structured method enables continuous learning with steady, solid progress.
This method works for students of all levels, including beginners!
A digital support is created for each piece, enabling students to find the fingerings learned during their lessons.
The recommended learning pace is one lesson per week. However, there’s nothing to stop a student taking several lessons a week, or not coming at all!
An original method
Take your piano lesson as if you were going to the gym!
- You start with an assessment, and choose the piece you want to learn,
- Alternating exercises and rehearsals with headphones and passages with your teacher/coach,
- Groups of 10 students maximum,
- 1-hour classes

We’re delighted to introduce our new subscription formula from the start of the school year in September 2023: unlimited group lessons for €125 per month!
This unique offer gives you the opportunity to learn and practice piano like never before. With your monthly commitment, you’ll have unlimited access to all our adult group lessons, as well as the opportunity to book our top-quality rehearsal studios, giving you the flexibility and freedom to immerse yourself in your passion for music.
Subscription terms:
- Monthly commitment: For just €125 per month, you can enjoy unlimited access to all our adult group lessons.
- Studio reservations: Your subscription entitles you to reserve our rehearsal studios, allowing you to practice at your own pace in a professional environment.
- Online music theory lessons:For students who haven’t yet mastered reading sheet music, we offer group music theory lessons, lasting 30 minutes each, delivered online. These lessons are structured in cycles of 8 sessions.
- Availability: All adult group lesson slots and studio bookings are subject to availability. We advise you to book in advance to guarantee your place.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply pay for the current month, and you’re free to leave at no extra cost.
- Payment: Subscription payment is easily made by direct debit, for a hassle-free experience.
To note: A workbook and the sheet music required for the course are required and will be paid for additionally.

The trial lesson
Before choosing one of our two commitment formulas, it’s essential to schedule a debriefing session with one of our teachers. This session, which lasts 30 minutes, will help you gain an in-depth understanding of the teaching methodology adopted by our school. Together, we’ll choose the first piece you’ll study. Our aim is to guide you so that you can perform your first piece in less than two months, even as a beginner. For students with previous piano experience, we also offer transcriptions to suit all levels and musical styles.

Musical evenings
The school frequently organizes meetings in the form of lectures and concerts, offering a great opportunity for our students to meet and share their passion for music. These events take place in our space at 1 Rue Richelieu, 75001, and we are pleased to offer our students free access to these special occasions, while their families can benefit from a preferential rate.
Good to know
Play your favorite tune straight away!
The first “Assessment” stage consists of choosing with the student the first piece he or she wants to play. No “méthode rose” or other simplified pieces. We’ve transcribed over a hundred scores and adapted them so that beginners and experienced students alike can quickly get the hang of them. Of course, all styles of music are included!
Nor do we ask students to play for several hours a day. Regularity of work is important, and with 15 to 20 minutes of work a day, you’ll achieve surprising results!
Age is not a problem. It’s true that as you get older, it will be more difficult to play very fast passages. Fortunately, the classical repertoire offers a wide range of works to suit every taste!
Music theory lessons for adults
inclus dans nos forfaits, ces cours ont une durée de 30 minutes et se déroulent une fois par semaine sur Zoom, les lundis à 20h30.
L’objectif est d’enseigner les notions de base du solfège nécessaires pour déchiffrer une partition. Ce module est structuré en 8 leçons (1 leçon par semaine).
Entre chaque leçon, il y a des exercices sont proposés tous les jours afin de renforcer les thèmes appris. Les exercices sont alors corrigés automatiquement, permettant ainsi un meilleur suivi.
