This summer, we invite children to discover the magical world of Coppélia through piano, music listening, movement, rhythm games and creative workshops. A poetic and joyful musical experience inspired by one of the most famous classical ballets.

Throughout the week, children will explore famous themes from the ballet adapted to their level: the Waltz from Coppélia, the Mazurka, the Dance of the Automata and the Final Galop.
Piano remains at the heart of the camp, with daily work on rhythm, musical expression, coordination and improvisation.
The week follows a playful progression allowing children to gradually discover the story, characters and musical universe of Coppélia.
Discovering Coppélia, Swanilda, Franz and the mysterious Dr Coppélius.
Rhythm, dance and folk-inspired music from the ballet.
Exploring Dr Coppélius’ workshop through musical games and mechanical movements.
Musical expression, dynamics, contrasts and interpretation at the piano.
Preparing a small informal presentation for families.

Children should bring a lunchbox and a water bottle.
Afternoon snacks are provided by us. Please inform us during registration of any allergies or forbidden foods.
Morning and afternoon sessions include different activities and musical content, allowing children staying the full day to enjoy a varied and balanced programme.
On the last day, families will be invited to attend a small presentation combining piano, narration, movement and the children’s creative work from the week.
This final moment helps children gain confidence while sharing their artistic experience together.
