A creative musical journey
During the holidays, children will follow a young traveller, a flowing stream and life around a mill. Through this world, they will discover several of Schubert’s Lieder (songs).
We will listen to the same music performed by different singers and musicians. A voice can be gentle, deep, light or full of expression; the piano can whisper, move like footsteps or evoke the flow of water.
Children will be encouraged to notice these differences: is it the same song? What changes? Which version do they prefer, and why?
