Enrollment Path for Online Group Piano Lessons for Adults

One-hour online group lessons, where each adult works on their own piece at their own pace, with personalised guidance from the teacher.

Learning piano online as an adult is absolutely possible, even if you are a complete beginner. At Piano Académie, our group online lessons follow an individualised method: each student works on the piece they have chosen, while the teacher moves from one participant to another, guiding, correcting, and encouraging everyone throughout the session.

All you need is a piano or keyboard, a smartphone, and a stable internet connection. The phone is positioned to show the keyboard and the upper part of your body, allowing the teacher to clearly observe your hand position and movements.

Here is the complete path from your registration to your very first online lesson.

Step 1. Choose your subscription plan

Begin by selecting the option that best matches your schedule and goals.

  • A 10-lesson pack, ideal for progressing at your own pace without a monthly commitment.
  • A monthly unlimited subscription, allowing you to take up to five lessons per week for faster progress.

Once your enrollment is confirmed, you will receive a summary message with all essential information for the next steps.

Step 2. Watch the introduction video

Before your first lesson, we recommend watching a short video that explains how the sessions work and introduces the Piano Académie method.

  • You will see how a one-hour online group lesson is organised.
  • You will understand how individual work happens within a group format.
  • You will get practical tips for setting up your phone and arranging your playing space.

This step helps you begin your first lesson with confidence, knowing exactly what to expect.

Step 3. Choose your first sheet music

Lessons are based on a repertoire of sheet music specially arranged by Piano Académie for adult learners.

  • A wide selection of pieces for all levels, from complete beginners to intermediate players.
  • Step-by-step arrangements designed to support progressive learning.
  • Instant digital download of all sheets once purchased.
We do not use external sheet music. Our teachers know the pieces of the method perfectly, which allows them to correct you precisely, demonstrate the right movements, and help you progress more effectively.

Step 4. Download the booking app

After enrolling, you will receive a link to install our booking application.

  • Book your online lessons independently.
  • Check all available time slots each week.
  • Adapt your bookings to your personal and professional schedule.

This flexibility is particularly helpful for adults with busy or changing schedules.

Step 5. Book and attend your first lesson

Once the app is installed, simply choose a time slot and book your first lesson.

On the day of the lesson, connect at the scheduled time with your phone positioned so the teacher can see:

  • the keyboard of your piano or digital piano,
  • the upper part of your body, to check posture and movement.

During the session, the teacher addresses each student in turn. When it is your turn, you will receive the next instructions, demonstrations, corrections, and guidance, then continue practising while the teacher works with another participant.

This rotation continues throughout the hour, providing individual feedback within a motivating group framework.

This enrollment path is designed to be clear and simple, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: playing the piano and progressing at your own pace. With a piano, a phone, and regular practice, you can begin or resume piano within a structured and supportive environment adapted to adults.

From your very first lesson, you will discover a method that combines structure, musical enjoyment, and personalised guidance—even from a distance.
