Group piano lessons designed for teenagers
From the age of 12, expectations change. Teenagers need a more stimulating, freer and more mature framework, allowing them to make serious progress without losing the pleasure of playing.
Our group piano lessons for teenagers combine high standards, autonomy and group energy. Each student progresses at their own pace, chooses their pieces, works with the teacher and benefits from the motivation of the group.
A serious, motivating and flexible format for teenagers who want to progress while keeping the pleasure of music.
Why this format works particularly well at this age
The group lesson offers a lively and motivating environment. Teenagers work individually while benefiting from the momentum of the group, the teacher’s guidance and a more engaging atmosphere than a format that would feel too rigid.
- A stimulating and friendly atmosphere
- Up to 10 students per class
- Time slots adapted to teenagers
- Serious progress without unnecessary rigidity
A more autonomous approach
Inspired by our competition preparation classes, our organisation alternates between time spent working with the teacher and personal practice on a digital keyboard. The student learns to concentrate, listen to their own playing and gradually build genuine musical autonomy.
The teacher guides each student with precision, without overloading them. This gives every teenager the space they need to progress with greater responsibility and enjoyment.
Autonomy and concentration
The student learns to listen, repeat, correct and gradually become more independent at the piano.
A complete course plan
The annual package also includes an online music theory lesson, designed to strengthen reading, rhythm and sight-reading. The objective is to offer a coherent and useful pathway, directly connected to instrumental practice.
Online music theory included
The course reinforces reading, rhythm and understanding of the score.
A direct link with piano practice
Music theory is used as a practical tool to support instrumental progress.
Mixed adult-teen classes
Since September 2023, some time slots have been opened as mixed adult-teen classes.
A shared musical experience
This format also answers requests from families who sometimes wish to share the same musical experience.
