A second lesson means twice the joy of playing, progressing, and gaining confidence.

Piano Académie offers specific benefits for families enrolling several children or several family members.
The annual package combines piano learning, music theory, educational materials and concert participation according to the chosen format. The registration kit allows each student to begin the year with the necessary materials.
The trial lesson is the first step before enrollment. It allows the student to discover the Piano Académie method and helps our team guide the family toward the right format.
One-hour online group lessons, where each adult works on their own piece at their own pace, with personalised guidance from the teacher.
Learning piano online as an adult is absolutely possible, even if you are a complete beginner. At Piano Académie, our group online lessons follow an individualised method: each student works on the piece they have chosen, while the teacher moves from one participant to another, guiding, correcting, and encouraging everyone throughout the session.
All you need is a piano or keyboard, a smartphone, and a stable internet connection. The phone is positioned to show the keyboard and the upper part of your body, allowing the teacher to clearly observe your hand position and movements.
Here is the complete path from your registration to your very first online lesson.
Begin by selecting the option that best matches your schedule and goals.
Once your enrollment is confirmed, you will receive a summary message with all essential information for the next steps.
Before your first lesson, we recommend watching a short video that explains how the sessions work and introduces the Piano Académie method.
This step helps you begin your first lesson with confidence, knowing exactly what to expect.
Lessons are based on a repertoire of sheet music specially arranged by Piano Académie for adult learners.
After enrolling, you will receive a link to install our booking application.
This flexibility is particularly helpful for adults with busy or changing schedules.
Once the app is installed, simply choose a time slot and book your first lesson.
On the day of the lesson, connect at the scheduled time with your phone positioned so the teacher can see:
During the session, the teacher addresses each student in turn. When it is your turn, you will receive the next instructions, demonstrations, corrections, and guidance, then continue practising while the teacher works with another participant.
This rotation continues throughout the hour, providing individual feedback within a motivating group framework.
This enrollment path is designed to be clear and simple, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: playing the piano and progressing at your own pace. With a piano, a phone, and regular practice, you can begin or resume piano within a structured and supportive environment adapted to adults.
From your very first lesson, you will discover a method that combines structure, musical enjoyment, and personalised guidance—even from a distance.
Learn piano from home with online group lessons designed for adults, whether you are a complete beginner or already experienced. A structured method, individual guidance and the motivating energy of a group to help you progress at your own pace, without having to travel.
Online piano lessons designed for adults: a live teacher, your own piano at home, and a flexible schedule.
Piano Académie has developed a progressive method that suits complete beginners as well as more advanced pianists who want to structure their playing. The lessons follow a clear progression, helping you build solid technical and musical foundations while keeping the joy of playing at the center.
This approach is particularly suitable if you want to learn how to read sheet music, play a varied repertoire and make steady progress. It will be less suitable if you are looking for lessons focused exclusively on improvisation or jazz.
Online group lessons offer a practical and efficient alternative to in-person classes, while maintaining a high level of support.
Online group piano lessons are offered in the evening at 9 pm (Paris time), to fit around working days. Each session lasts one hour and follows the same methodology, regardless of the level of the group.
All you need is an acoustic or digital piano, a smartphone, computer or tablet with an Internet connection, and ideally a pair of headphones. Your device is positioned so that it shows both the keyboard and your upper body, enabling the teacher to clearly see your posture and movements.
During the lesson, the teacher works with each student in turn: explaining, demonstrating difficult passages, correcting posture and rhythm, then moving on to another participant. In between, you work independently on your piece. The format is collective, but the guidance is truly individualized.
Lessons are booked through a dedicated app. You choose your lesson times according to your schedule, without being tied to a single fixed slot, within the limits of the number of sessions included in your plan. This organization gives you a lot of autonomy while keeping a regular learning framework.
In September 2023, Piano Académie was one of the first schools to offer an unlimited subscription for in-person group lessons. After its success in Paris, with many adult students enrolled, we extended this option to online lessons.
The unlimited plan allows you to book up to one group lesson per day, with a maximum of five lessons per week. This gives you great flexibility and an ideal practice rhythm to progress quickly, while avoiding misuse thanks to a reasonable limit.
To make the online group format as effective as possible, we have built a catalogue of pieces in several styles: classical works, pop songs, film music and other carefully selected pieces. Each title is arranged at different levels, to ensure a smooth and motivating progression.
We do not use external scores in these lessons. Teachers must know each piece in depth to guide you precisely, and they do not have time during the lesson to discover new scores on request.
If you cannot find the piece you have in mind in our catalogue, you can let us know. We will consider adding an adapted version to a future update of the repertoire.

Music theory is not taught during the online piano lessons. It is not essential to get started, but it is very useful if you want to become more independent when reading music and understanding what you play.
To support this, we offer online music theory classes specifically designed for adults, with a practical, clear and progressive approach.
Two levels are available, in small groups, with 30-minute sessions.
These classes can be purchased separately or included in the unlimited piano and theory subscription. You decide how much theoretical support you need.

For nearly a decade, Piano Academy has been shaking up the conventions of piano education. While the traditional approach relies on private lessons, our school has chosen the path of innovative group classes. With 9 years of experience, over 800 students, and a 90% rate of group lessons, we have developed a unique method based on Mi-Young LEE’s pedagogy, which combines rigor, conviviality, and measured progress.
1. An innovative pedagogical approach
The Mi-Young LEE Method
Our method is based on a sequential and compartmentalized approach. Each piece is broken down into measures, with each one needing to be perfectly mastered before moving on to the next. This approach ensures a deep understanding and lasting memorization, while giving students the opportunity to correct their mistakes without compromising the entire piece.
The Impact of the Collective
The choice of group lessons allows students to progress together, share their experiences, and enrich one another. This dynamic creates a stimulating and friendly atmosphere, fostering learning and self-confidence.
2. An interactive pedagogical approach
At Piano Academy, the essence of our method lies in the personalized attention provided within a group setting. During each class, the teacher actively moves from one student to another, demonstrating techniques, correcting mistakes, and tailoring advice to each individual’s specific needs. This dynamic fosters rapid and targeted progress while creating a stimulating atmosphere where students learn from one another. Additionally, music theory is offered through dedicated group classes held online at specific times, allowing each student to strengthen their theoretical understanding and improve their sheet music reading skills.
